Mean and standard deviation
The mean, x bar, is the sum of x divided by n. The sample standard deviation, s x, divides by n minus 1, and the population standard deviation, sigma x, divides by n; the same formulas apply to y. Then the sums: sum of x and sum of x squared, sum of y and sum of y squared, and sum of x y, the products of each pair.
